GadgetRest LLC operates mygadgetrest.com (the Site). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit the Site, request support, or choose to receive communications from us.
Purchases through Amazon
Our purchase buttons direct you to Amazon. Amazon handles checkout, payments, and purchases made on Amazon under its own privacy notice and terms. You do not need to provide payment-card details to GadgetRest's support form. If you contact us about a purchase, we may ask for relevant order information to help resolve your request. Please do not send payment-card details or passwords in a support message.
Information we collect
Information you provide may include your name, email address, support messages, product or order information you choose to share, and a mobile number if you choose SMS support when that option is available. If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect the email address and preferences you submit. Requesting support does not, by itself, subscribe you to promotional messages.
When you browse, Shopify and the services used to deliver the Site may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring pages, and cookie or similar identifiers. This information supports website operation, security, preferences, and usage measurement.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the Site, respond to support requests, provide product assistance, maintain communication preferences and consent records, understand website use, and comply with applicable obligations. We do not sell or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are excluded from any marketing-sharing arrangements and are not sold or shared for third-party marketing. Providers that help us operate and deliver messages may process only the information needed for those services, and disclosures may also be made when required by law.

These provisions do not authorize selling or sharing SMS consent or mobile information for third-party marketing.

Although GadgetRest has not added advertising apps or advertising pixels, Shopify may still use cookies and similar technologies for website operation and analytics. Amazon's practices apply after you follow a purchase link to Amazon.
